Facts: In Riverside, California in 1990 an auto accident occurred where Mr. Brent who was 55 years. old and visually impaired claimed injury. He contended that the defendant was at fault and that he suffered a severe injury to his head which affected his vision. He lost the vision in his right eye within a few weeks after the accident. The defendant argued that the accident did not cause this visual problem.
